I fucking fell asleep on this movie it dragged on for so long. In my eternal search for a Denzel Washington movie to blow training Day out of the water or a John Travolta movie to blow Face/Off out of the water...I thought I was getting some serious macho bang for my buck.
Washington is toned WAY the fuck down into some geeky black nerd with the stereotypical frizzy nappy black wife at home. He's about as ebtertaining in this movie as watching dry paint dry some more. Save for his bantering on the microphone with Travolta in the early portions.
Travolta if pretty decent as a pissed off loose cannon who seemingly came out of NOWHERE and pulled off a complex heist. I find it hard to believe that people of this magnitude would be walking the streets and get shot up by the cops at the end of the movie.
Bullshit.
And they needed to explore the characters more. I had no reason to give a shit or root for anybody in the movie.
I had a better time watching that motor mouth "sector 7" guy from transformers try to play the non motor mouth serious part.
And lastly the hostages. If the bad guys are that dumb enough they can't see or hear a teenager chatting on his fucking computer your telling me 18 people can't make a stand against 2 gunmen. Did we learn nothing from 9/11? |

Windsheild washer fluid line on my car either ruptured or popped off, either way I can probably fix it tomorrow, I checked to make sure it wasn't the pump or the resevoir, they are both working fine but the length of the hose where it's leaking from is hidden and will involve me reaching in from under the wheel well, which has a plastic mud shield in the way. Shouldn't take too long to fix, but still... ANNOYING :( I'm more pissed about the fact that I just lost all my washer fluid which I just bought ;.; it wasn't the cheap stuff either, it was the 2.99 a bottle stuff!
Also the starter is really acting up >.> I was hoping to limp it along but it has gone from a once every other day issue to once/twice a day, might get it replaced before MFF, still debating on getting the $75 one from the scrap yard with a 30 day warranty or getting the $250 one that is rebuilt and has a 5 year warranty... I'm leaning towards the $250 one because apparently starters in these older corollas are known to die after about 10 years, if I bought one pulled out of a 1998 I might be in the same boat after a year, If I'm lucky they might have pulled it from a 2002 which has the same engine/starter, but who knows what the chances of that are. Stupid stuffs.. that's like.. alot of chocolate bars worth of moneys D: |

I was inside an auditorium. There were several people around me. The whole atmosphere was very similar to what you would see in church. There were various colored stain glasses but nothing that would suggest an outside was behind due to their dull glow.
The men who are leading it all were largely bland, uninspiring, and quite forgettable. I'm not even sure what was going on there.
I remember getting up to leave and I found an out of place book. I picked it up to return to the shelves, and on the highest one, was a small notch. I slid the book back into place and heard a click.
A small passage opened up in the floor beneath me. I dropped down to an all white hallway with blue doors and piping. It was very cold. I ran through the corridor trying all the doors but none would unlock.
At the end of the corridor was a an elevator with a police officer standing guard. he nodded to me and I nodded back as I pushed the button. when the door opened I got on and just as the doors started to close the officer whipped around and tried to shoot me.
As his arm entered I grabbed it and tried to break it off the door. He ended up dropping the gun and I pulled him in where he had a small syringe ready in his other hand. We wrestled for a bit as he tried to jam me up with whatever was inside and I tied to stall him to reach for the gun.
Finally I reached it and put it to his temple and the officer just smiled and stuck the syringe in his own neck.
I'm unsure whether he passed out or actually died. When the elevator once again stopped it was night time and I came about a big expansive lobby with lots of greenery and water sprinklers with a big onyx obelisk in the middle. Figuring I probably shouldn't leave a body laying around I drug the lifeless cop off the elevator and threw in a corner behind some shrubbery. Hopefully no one notice, inside or outside. Especially outside as there's a lot of glass transparency.

A marvelous night scape to witness...but exit. No door of any kind. Going out into the streets of a city I didn't recognize. no people walking, no cars driving. Just dark unlit buildings and the familiar amber glow of normal city street lamps. However they were too far off in the distance to illuminate anything in my immediate vicinity.
I walked to the obelisk and and touched the panel and a hologram lit up showing me the building I was in had six floors. I figured if maybe I couldn't get out on the bottom I would get out on the top. The peculiar things is all the floors were massive open areas and not regular office floors according to the schematic. I checked the stolen gun for ammo and it was a full clip. I went up the stairs behind me to the second floor
The second floor was very sharp angled with various black onyx structures similar to the main floor obelisk. Even the floors were of the same material A few random people dressed in glittery robes walked by and nodded and I nodded back. In the center was a glass hole that you could see through that overlooked the main floor obelisk.
Curiously I looked straight up and noticed I could see to an extent the same type of hole existed on the floors above me. Though i couldn't see all the way to the top due to the night darkening my scope vision.
I found a staircase leading up to the third floor when I stepped out I saw more glittery robed people kneeling in silence. there were more police officers wandering around and one of them started executing people with his gun.
i watched him indiscriminately pull the trigger in a systemized fashion. Nobody seemed to flinch scream or care. Not even the dying people.
I located the stairs in the distance and tried to crawl my way along the pillars and greenery but i heard someone shout in a foreign language and then bullets started flying my way.
I stood up and started laying down some return fire to suppress my escape. I could see several officers running and jumping over things to get at me while trying to shoot.
I'm guessing the adrenaline took over because the next thing I remember is getting off the elevator at floor 5 which was a modern office feel that looked a lot like an employee lounge. There was a young girl wandering who was scared. When she saw me she lit up and ran over to me as she knew me. She looked like she could be in high school but had not attended in some time as she had long black hair that was kind of dry with no life shine and green eyes that looked like they had forgotten the meaning of life and fun a long ass time ago. her white skin was smudged with dirt and she wore a darker version of the glitter robes.
I told her to find as much ammo as she could and she began grabbing some from the cupboards around the large area. I scoped around for the next staircase only to realize I didn't have my gun anymore. She came back with a few boxes of ammo and I told her to go hide instead.
She ran off and as I approached the staircase a police officer descended and walked past me shifting his belt back in to place. He smiled and nodded as he went to a cupboard and unlocked it putting his gun back in his holster. I ignored him and continued up stairs to the sixth floor where there was only a small crystalline obelisk in the center with a crossbow Uzi (uzi looking gun that shot arrow type daggers) on the ground. It looked like it had been recently used black with red trim. I tried to rack and stack it curiously staring at the odd gun that had no bullets.
I fired off one and noticed it shot a sleek silver mini stake of sorts that flew into the wall and glass and bounced off. I pulled the rack back again and noticed about 11 red slivers. I figured that's how many shots I had left. the policeman from before had walked back up the steps and stopped dead at seeing me. His eyes opened wide and he reached for his gun as I shot him a couple times with my crossbow uzi. The Officer fell and and yelled something unintelligible again that weird language into his radio and a small passage opened that let in some pre dawn light.
He tried to crawl his way towards the passage and I shot him in the back a few times and he stopped moving. Figuring there were more on the way i ran towards his passage diving and shooting only to dive into an all transparent glass staircase that led up to an onyx door.
I opened the door and felt the cold breeze rush around me as the sun was rising and the sky was turning deep red yellow to prepare for a new day. Then the ground shook and a huge boom went off as the floor gave way and I fell back down
When I came to I was surround on what seemed like the 6th floor again except along with the officers was a an older man in a black suit. I didn't recognize him but I felt his name was Spencer.
Spencer began lecturing me about stuff that I couldn't quite hear as I noticed the roof had collapsed and there were small fires and a lot of smoke everywhere. The cool winds now just blew ash and smoke.
Spencer informed me that i would be going to jail and would probably die in jail. I smiled and laughed and stated I'm not the one who called the cops, you did. You made the report, they're gonna be looking for you.
Spencer looked confused. And I spit at him. go ahead head you faggot, check your cell phone. You called, you confessed, it's your ass. Not mine.
Spencer pulled out his cell phone and fiddled with it and then looked mortified as the officers turned on him and let me go.
I fell to the ground breathing hard knowing I somehow double crossed Spencer.
i started blacking out. Not sure if I was wounded, dying, or just plain tired. I was Spencer make a last ditch attempt to flee but there was no audio as the everyone moved in slow motion and the the familiar yellow flashes of guns exploding went off one after another.
I wondered what happened on the floors I couldn't remember. But it didn't seem to matter as my eyes closed.
And then I woke up. |

| Burning Logic |
[Nov. 5th, 2009|06:24 pm] |
Recently DZ has heard of a juvenile who was doused with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and set on fire. The child now has severe burns across 65 percent of his body.
Assuming the child was not naked, has schools stopped teaching STOP DROP AND ROLL?
Does the child's instinct not make him shed burning clothes?
And where did he and his friend get THAT much alcohol?
Because seriously it takes a LOT to set human skin on fire. Me and a friend used to set our hands on fire and even that took at least 2 bottles and saturation time and the flame still wasn't enough to burn and cause pain.
Seriously WHAT THE FUCK people. Whatever happened to the good old days of juvenile sex, smoking pot, and firing off a few rounds from your fathers magnum?
Whatever happened to stealing marshmallows out the grocery store or some dumb asinine shit like that.
Or perhaps it was because Burning man is too far away for them to attend? |

| | frustrated | ] | Recently DZ heard of a girl who drowned in a flood after seeking refuge in a cement pillar tube type construction thing. she had a cellphone. Did she call 911..no. She instead went to her twitter account and posted a twat that she's in trouble. Nobody took her seriously until on person decided to pass it off to law enforcement who eventually found the boy a day or so later.
3 days ago 3 softball players from California I think routinely drive to some secluded place in north Dakota to stargaze. Unless California's epic smog prevents stargazing I'm not sure about the logic behind this one but whatever.
Anyways SOMEHOW they wind up driving into a lake. Rather than calling 911. They called their friends....back home in California. Who didn't seem to know much about their whereabouts or info. Which means they had to run a blind cell trace which eventually came to a tower in the regional area which ended up in a manhunt. The found the car over 24 hours later with all 3 girls dead.
The recurring theme?
Does 911 not work anymore? i don't condone non emergency preparedness, but driving into a lake isn't a flash point impact scenario. On top of that why are we twitting and calling pals. What in the hell is going on with young people these days?
Seriously what the fuck re we teaching people these days besides useless garbage? |
